Frequently asked

Questions we get every week.

Straight answers on pricing, process, the free month, and how we actually work. If your question isn't here, reach out and we'll answer it directly.

Getting started

What is the free first month?

Qualified businesses get their entire first month of service free. That includes a full audit, competitive analysis, keyword mapping, ROI projection, and the initial month of execution work. No contract, no credit card on file. At the end of 30 days we both decide whether to continue. If we're not a fit, you walk away with a real strategic asset. If we are, we move into a 3-6 month minimum engagement.

Do I need to put a credit card on file for the free month?

No. We do not collect payment information during the free month. Billing only starts if both parties agree to continue after the 30-day trial period.

How do I know if I qualify?

We take a deliberately small roster. We work with established service businesses in home services, healthcare and wellness, financial services, automotive, or vacation rentals that are already doing at least $500K in annual revenue, have an active website, and have a real marketing budget. If you're pre-revenue or in a vertical we don't serve, we'll be upfront about it during the qualification call.

Can I cancel during the free month?

Yes. You can end the engagement at any point during the free month with no obligation. You keep everything we built together.

What happens after the free month?

If we both agree we're a fit, we move into a paid engagement with a 3-6 month minimum. Every engagement is custom-quoted, there's no blanket price sheet. What you pay depends on the complexity of the project, the dollar value of the traffic we'd capture for you, the average lead value and lifetime customer value in your market, our costs based on the level of service you need, and the competitive intensity of your vertical. Qualified prospects get a full audit and an ROI-backed proposal during their free first month. We don't throw out a number until we understand the economics of your business.

Services and approach

What services do you offer?

Local SEO with Google Business Profile optimization, AEO (answer engine optimization for AI search), PPC and paid lead generation across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, organic social media management, and marketing automation with custom CRMs including AI receptionists. Most clients run a combination of these.

What's the difference between SEO and AEO?

SEO optimizes your content to rank in traditional search engine results (Google, Bing). AEO (answer engine optimization) optimizes your content to be cited, quoted, and recommended by AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google's AI Overviews. Both matter in 2026 because search is splitting between traditional results and AI answers. We do both, not one or the other.

Do you guarantee specific rankings?

No. Any agency that guarantees rankings is lying or using black-hat tactics that will eventually get you penalized. We guarantee effort, process, and transparent reporting tied to revenue, not to vanity metrics.

How long before I see results?

Paid ads generate results in days or weeks. Local SEO and GBP optimization typically show movement in 30-90 days. Broader SEO compounds over 3-6 months. AEO citations can land within weeks but full AI visibility takes 3-6 months of compound effort. We give you a realistic timeline in the ROI projection before any commitment.

Do you work with businesses outside your listed verticals?

Rarely. For national AI-search clients (SaaS, eCommerce, enterprise B2B, fintech, healthtech, edtech, media, marketplaces, knowledge brands) we do take on AEO agency engagements outside our listed local verticals. For traditional local SEO work, we focus on the verticals where we have proven playbooks, home services, healthcare and wellness, financial services, automotive, and vacation rentals among them, so we can go deep rather than wide.

Pricing and contracts

How do you price engagements?

Every engagement is custom-quoted, there's no blanket price sheet. What you pay depends on the complexity of the project, the dollar value of the traffic we'd capture for you, the average lead value and lifetime customer value in your market, our costs based on the level of service you need, and the competitive intensity of your vertical. Qualified prospects get a full audit and an ROI-backed proposal during their free first month. We don't throw out a number until we understand the economics of your business.

Is there a contract?

After the free first month, yes, we ask for a 3-6 month minimum commitment. This isn't because we're locking you in. It's because SEO and AEO don't work on one-month timelines. Anyone who tells you they can deliver compounding organic results in 30 days is lying. We can only honor our pricing if we can execute the full compounding curve.

What's the minimum ad spend for PPC?

Minimum ad spend depends on your market and vertical, we set it based on what's required to generate enough data to optimize intelligently. For most local service businesses, that's enough to outbid the top 3 competitors consistently in your geography. For B2B and national campaigns, it's tied to CPC and expected conversion rates in your category. Below the right floor, data is too thin to optimize against, we'll tell you honestly what the minimum looks like for your specific situation during the free audit.

Do you offer discounts for long-term commitments?

Yes. 6-month commitments get a modest discount on retainers. Annual commitments get more. We never discount ad spend or third-party tool costs, only our own managed services.

What's your refund policy?

During the free first month, there's nothing to refund. Once paid engagement begins, our minimum commitment is in place. If we fail to deliver what was in scope or contracted, we make it right. If you're dissatisfied with results despite us executing the plan, we talk, adjust, and find a path forward.

How we work

Who actually does the work?

We keep a deliberately small team of senior specialists. No offshore content farms, no junior account managers running your campaigns. The person you talk to on the sales call is the person (or on the same team as the person) who executes your work. Our operating principle is quality of roster over volume of roster.

Will I have a dedicated account manager?

Yes. You get a dedicated senior strategist plus access to the specialists executing the work. Our project manager Gaby coordinates across the team. You have direct Slack or email access to your lead strategist.

How often do we meet?

Monthly strategy call minimum, with async reporting weekly. During the free month we meet more frequently. After onboarding, cadence adjusts based on what you need.

How do you report results?

Dashboards tied to revenue metrics, not vanity. Calls booked, leads generated, customers acquired, revenue attributed. We don't hide behind keyword rankings or impression counts. Every monthly report ties spend to outcome.

Can I bring my own tools?

Yes. We work with your existing tool stack when it makes sense. If you use HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Keap, or ActiveCampaign and are happy with it, we integrate into that rather than replacing it. If you want to build something custom, we do that too on our proprietary platform.

Industries and geography

What industries do you specialize in?

Home services (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, restoration, cleaning, garage doors, windows and siding, countertop installation), health and wellness (addiction treatment, dental implants, mental health, med spas, IVF and fertility, hormone and anti-aging, ketamine and alternative therapies), financial services (tax preparation, CPA firms, accounting, payroll), automotive (used car dealerships, auto repair, tire shops, transmission, luxury detailing), and vacation rentals (short-term rentals, location-specific rental sites, luxury condos).

Do you work internationally?

Yes, for AEO agency and national SEO engagements. For local SEO work, we primarily serve United States markets because map pack optimization and local citations are US-specific. We have select international vacation rental clients where the work is partly SEO and partly direct booking optimization.

Do you do category exclusivity?

Yes. In a given geographic market, we don't take on two directly competing clients in the same vertical. If you're a Seattle HVAC business and you work with us, we won't take on your direct competitor in Seattle. This is part of why we keep the roster small.

What if my industry isn't in your list?

We might still be a fit for AEO and AI search work at the national level. For local SEO in a vertical not listed, we'd refer you to someone we trust rather than taking work we can't execute at our standard.

AI, AEO, and the new search

What is AEO and why does it matter?

AEO is Answer Engine Optimization, the practice of optimizing your content to be cited by AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google's AI Overviews. It matters because an increasing share of buyer research happens inside AI engines rather than traditional search. Being the cited source inside an AI answer is often more valuable than ranking #1 in Google, because the AI has already picked the winner for the user.

Can AI really replace Google traffic?

Not replace, supplement. Google still handles 8.5 billion searches per day. But AI engines like ChatGPT are growing fast, and they influence buyer decisions long before a user ever visits a site. The smart play is to win both channels.

Should I block AI crawlers like GPTBot?

Almost never. Blocking AI crawlers means your content can never be cited in those engines. The question isn't whether AI engines will use web content, they already do. The question is whether they'll use yours. Only block if you have a specific legal or competitive reason.

How do you track AI citations?

Manual prompt testing across engines, AI referrer traffic in GA4, citation tracking tools like Profound and Otterly, and branded search volume trends. It's not as clean as traditional SEO analytics yet, but it's getting better every month.

Getting in touch

What's the fastest way to talk to someone?

Call us directly at (833) 407-1900. If we're on other calls, leave a message with your name, business, and a callback window. Or use the short form on our book-a-call page to grab a time directly. The qualification form takes about 5 minutes if you want us to pre-review your situation before the call.

How fast do you respond to inquiries?

Calls during business hours usually get a live pickup or callback within 2 hours. Form submissions get a response within 1 business day, usually same-day. If you booked a call, we're there at the time you booked.

What should I have ready for our first call?

Your website URL, a rough sense of your current marketing spend, what you've tried before and what worked or didn't, and what a great outcome looks like for you in 12 months. If you have analytics access, even better. Nothing fancy. We can figure most of it out live.

Do you have a privacy policy?

Yes. See our privacy policy and terms of service. We never sell or rent your data. Your information is used to evaluate fit and schedule the call, nothing else.
