Online stores, $500K+

E-commerce SEO
agency.

SEOArmy is a performance e-commerce SEO agency for established online stores that want organic revenue they can forecast, not a monthly traffic chart. Shoppers now discover products in Google, in free Shopping listings and inside AI assistants that compare options for them. We make your categories and products the ones that get found, recommended and bought.

Every major platform.
One store-focused team.

The fundamentals of store SEO are the same everywhere; the constraints are not. Each platform hides different problems in its URLs, templates and plugins, so we run a platform-specific playbook on top of a shared commercial strategy.

The store growth
playbook.

Store SEO fails when it is run like a blog program. We start where the revenue is, with the pages that already sell, and work outward.

01
CATEGORIES

Win the commercial head terms

Category and collection pages target the searches with buying intent and real volume. We rebuild their structure, copy, internal links and filters so each one deserves to rank for its term, not just exist.

02
PRODUCTS

Make every product page complete

Unique descriptions, specs buyers actually compare, product schema with price and availability, reviews, Q&A and a product video. Thin manufacturer copy is the most common reason product pages never rank.

03
FEEDS & AI

Clean product data everywhere

Merchant Center feeds, free listings and the structured data AI assistants read when they compare products in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode. Wrong attributes cost you the recommendation.

04
AUTHORITY

Earn links and mentions

Digital PR, buying guides, original data and creator partnerships that earn coverage, plus the reviews and community mentions AI answers lean on when they name a store.

How we decide
what to fix first.

Revenue first, then rankings

Every engagement opens with a join between Search Console, analytics and your order data, so we can see which categories and products already earn organic revenue, which ones sit on page two with real demand behind them, and which templates are dragging everything down. That map sets the order of work. A collection page ranking eighth for a term with steady volume is usually a faster win than a new blog post, and fixing one product template can lift thousands of URLs at once. We publish the priority list, explain the reasoning, and revisit it monthly as results come in.

Store SEO splits into a few jobs that need different skills. Technical work keeps crawlers focused on pages you want indexed and keeps templates fast. On-page work makes categories and products genuinely useful to a shopper comparing options. Content answers the questions people ask before they buy, in buying guides and comparisons that link straight to the products they recommend. Authority work earns the links and mentions that tell Google and AI assistants your store is a real, trusted business. We run all four, weighted to where your store is weakest.

Prioritization also means saying what we will not do yet. A store with 30,000 indexed filter pages and slow collection templates does not need a content calendar in month one. A store with a clean, fast site and thin category copy does not need another technical audit. Seasonality shapes the plan as well: category improvements for a peak season need to be live and crawled months before it, not the week the promotion starts. We would rather do three things that move revenue this quarter than twelve that look busy in a report.

Shopping and AI answers are now part of SEO

A growing share of product discovery happens without a classic results page. Google shows free product listings and Shopping panels pulled from Merchant Center. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode build shortlists of products and stores, pulling from product data, reviews, retailer pages and editorial coverage. If your feed has missing GTINs, vague titles or out-of-date prices, you are filtered out before anyone reads your copy. We treat the feed and your structured data as SEO assets, audit them alongside the site, and track where your products appear in AI shopping answers as well as in organic results.

Video is part of every plan. Each SEO engagement includes one video a month, usually a product demo, comparison or how-to, published to YouTube and embedded on the matching product or category page with video schema. Reviews and user-generated content get the same treatment: we help you collect more of them, display them in crawlable markup, and answer the recurring questions they raise.

Who we are a fit for

We work with established stores, typically doing $500K+ a year, with a team that can approve changes and ship them. That floor exists because SEO compounds on what is already there: a catalog, some reviews, a brand people search for. We take one store per product category in a market, so we are never optimizing you against another client. Pricing is custom-quoted after the audit, because a 300-SKU Shopify store and a 200,000-SKU Magento catalog are different jobs.

Rules for
store SEO that lasts.

A few positions we hold on every e-commerce engagement, whatever the platform, because the shortcuts tend to cost stores more than they save.

No index bloatWe would rather you have 2,000 strong indexed URLs than 40,000 thin filter and tag pages. Pruning is often the first win.
No traffic vanityReports lead with organic revenue, orders and assisted conversions by page type. Sessions are context, not the goal.
No black-box linksEvery link we build comes from a real publication or partner you could show your customers. No private networks, no paid link packages.

E-commerce SEO
FAQs.

We make your category, product and supporting content pages rank for the searches that lead to orders, and make sure your products appear in Shopping listings and AI assistant answers. That covers technical SEO, on-page optimization of categories and products, buying-guide content, product feed quality, structured data, reviews and digital PR. The work is prioritized by revenue opportunity, not by a generic checklist.
Scale and templates. A store might have thousands of near-identical product pages, faceted filters that generate millions of URLs, and variants, pagination and out-of-stock items to handle. Most gains come from fixing templates and site structure that affect many pages at once, rather than optimizing pages one by one. Product feeds and Shopping surfaces are also unique to e-commerce.
Shopify and Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce, plus headless and custom storefronts. Each platform has its own page on this site explaining the specific issues we usually find and how we fix them.
Yes. Assistants compare products using structured data, product feeds, reviews and coverage from publications and communities they trust. We audit what they currently say about your products and category, fix the data they read, and build the mentions that make your store a natural recommendation. We report on AI visibility alongside organic rankings.
Technical and template fixes on pages that already rank can move within weeks of being crawled. New category rankings and authority gains usually take three to six months, and compound after that. We set expectations per page type at the start rather than promising a single date.
We can. Shopping campaigns and organic SEO share the same product feed, so improving titles, attributes and images helps both. Paid search is platform-selective and quoted separately; many stores run both so paid covers terms organic has not won yet.
